My friend for the longest would buy blu rays bc he likes physical media but also bc he'd be like "technically they're even higher quality than the 4k streaming" which I don't doubt is true but he didn't even have a 4k TV for awhile so he'd always bring his new purchases to watch at my place first lmao

Phsyical does usually look better but its not like night and day or anything. Not worth keeping an entire wall of media for
