I think they're Texas only and there aren't even any near Dallas but the best grocery store fried chicken I've had is from Brookshire Brothers

For chain Fried chicken places around here it is: KFC, a single Pop-Eyes, Dixie Lee, and Mary Browns

Mary Brown's is hit and miss depending on the spot but when it hits it is pretty damn good.
