General Chit-Chat Thread: A New Beginning

One day we did come in the office bc it wasn't real bad yet but by 9 am my car was snowed in I had to defrost for 30 mins before I could leave when they said go home

Yeah I grew up in like constant 100% humidity so I think I'm just used to it lol

Yeah we had a few snowstorms a couple years ago and we just worked from home lol

yeah most cities that don’t get snow just shut down if theres snow. In Iowa it doesn’t stop shit

 

[Butters]

People come in during blizzards to get a new phone and then i have to help push their car out of the parking lot

 

[Chris]

They're pretty lenient with working from home with weather but it's bc management doesn't wanna be there either

 

[Chris]

So if they do it then we can

 

[Butters]

My boss lives out of town so they don’t show up if its bad weather but i sure have to

 

[Butters]

They will be at work and see one snowflake and be like “welp better beat the storm. Cya”

 

[Chris]

Well yeah someone has to be there and you drew the shorter stick in life

 

[Butters]

Basically im jealous

 

[Chris]

At my job no one has to be there we don't see customers lol I can do everything from home they just don't trust me

 

[Butters]

One of my old coworkers came in, helped on customer and left

 

[Butters]

Then put down he worked all day saying he shouldn’t get docked for bad weather

 

[Butters]

He got wrote up

 

[Butters]

And fired shortly after.
