The poker rules used in-game are those from no-limit Texas Hold 'Em.

okay yes

yeah, that's pretty common. my friends play that in league IRL.

get together one saturday every month and keep stats. they even have a title belt for it

There's so many games we play. We do, of course, the five card draw. We do seven card stud, which you get two face cards and the other five other cards not shown. We do seven card no peak, which you have seven cards, but you can't look at them. We do Mexican sweat, which is similar to seven card no peak, but if you draw a three, you lose. We also do Texas and Hold'em every now and then. Following black jack, which my Mom loves the game. We usually pick random numbers for wilds.

I like playing spades but it's limited bc you need exactly 4 people

It's been years since I've played spades.
