He's not starting back the tours, the little guy just kicked the box and his wife saw it. It's just a way to subvert the "I think you're cheating on me" trope with "I think you're starting the Jeep tours again"

When his daughter flashed back to seeing him on the floor in the garage all distressed and shit, was that after the Jeep incident or where does that fall in the timeliness?

Also I don't think it's anything to actually read into as meaning more but the whole modeling side plot was hilarious, I assume the chair company was just trying to get him to stop by annoyance? Like their resources are modeling companies so they just signed him up so he'd kept getting the calls lol strikes me as meaning they aren't as shady as he thinks

that was when he was deciding he had to stop the tours I think, having to go back to his old job

That flashback also planted in my mind that he is just having a mental thing

And then his daughter repeating in the present the same thing she had told him them

If it's mental I guess the question is how much, if any are real

In the flashback, the mom told the daughter they just had to tell him something like "I believe in you, I support you, yada yada" and then in the current timeline when he told his daughter about the whole conspiracy, she said the same exact phrase

So it kinda felt like her realizing that he was backsliding into some kind of mental episode, but that obviously doesn't necessarily mean he's having delusions or whatever. It could just be a normal supportive statement for someone who's stressed. But it could have more meaning.

Ah yeah that's right, it's also not implied that he's having delusions back then or anything either, he just made a stupid business decision bc he didn't like that his wife had a better plan lol
