I dunno how his recovery is going by now, but the one thing about the whole story that irks me is that it's already pretty much built around Darby, at some point in time, getting that final push to be the Moxslayer.

So yea, while I would also be fucking ecstatic if Eddie would show up to go up against MoxCC, just like I'm pumped for OC getting his shot, at the end of the day you know where the train is heading and that final station doesn't look particularly great... which takes some hype away from any other guy showing up to fight them.

...of course, there are still a lot of variables in the story, so maybe (and hopefully) I'm wrong, but right now that is how it's been at least laid out.

I've seen so many people successfully re-prompt bots saying generic wrestling things on Twitter, it's both hilarious and sad bc for every bot programmed with an outrage script, you have actual humans saying "hell yeah brother tell em" lmao

if you look at any post on SC that the subject is AEW, you can pretty much see that a majority of the negative content is artifically generated as well and bot upvoted. it's why almost no fans of the product are even able to post there anymore as you get instantly downvoted to oblivion for stating any positive feedback on the product or push back against false narratives

it's very much worse than I assumed as well, I thought it was just fake posts but there's tons of bots to auto upvote. i would love to inmterview the modgirl at AEW sub because the amount of shit she deals with bots and trolls wise is insane.

It also makes me feel a bit better that there's not 100s to 1000s of people actually agreeing with these shitposts on every aew news.

Shit if you want an example. go look at the SC thread about Sasha's comments on the womens division. it's all the same type of comments worded differently, all upvoted hundreds of times. All essentially saying the womens booking sucks in different ways while also almost all praising NXT.

shit there was a highly upvoted comment saying nxt is the 3 most watched show in that thread and anyone who said that was factually incorrect was downvoted. Because apparently 2 good weeks of ratings and ignoring last weeks rating somehow means more ppl watch nxt than dynamite. literally factually incorrect information being upvoted lol
