It could be "tampering" I guess but I always thought that was kinda BS anyway in most sports, mostly cause everyone does it in some way, they just pretend they don't but love blowing up when other teams players take someone out to dinner or something
Obviously different than major sports leagues but still, always found that shit funny lol I personally don't see anything wrong with discussing stuff, even if the contract doesn't run out for awhile, also no issue with reporting back to your current company that you were contacted either, just boosting your value in a way
