I think Dixie loved the business more than most people. She just was in over her head. She needed strong leadership she could trust. Which is why I don’t hate her as much some do when she brought in Hulk and Eric to do that for her in 2010.I think it also helps that TK seems to very hands on and knowledgeable of business and has good relationship with people that matter. From what I heard, Dixie had some alterior motives for running TNA and it caused some disconnect
All that aside, I’d still put up their middle years against AEW talent wise and whatnot.
Check out some 2007 shows. They were pretty fire back then like AEW is right now. Top to bottom to. I. Top you had Angle, Christian, Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and then you have the X Division guys holding up the undercard and they had both a great tag team scene and women when no one else cared about women’s wrestling.
