My head canon is that Donald Trump has taken control of Tony Khan's Twitter, as part of an elaborate long term storyline dating back to Vince McMahon buying Raw back from Trump for double what Trump paid. It's the only thing that makes sense.

Eh... while I do believe a lot of people had a hard time with that (one single) segment (that fit the character's backstory perfectly), "thousands of fans" makes me think a lot of people just used this to let their toxicity ooze out, while they can perfectly hide behind those who truly were hit in the guts by the segment.

I listened to some actual Jewish folks give their thoughts and that was educational and I absolutely respect their pov and opinions, certainly not my place to say who should and should not be offended. I also agree with you that some people will use this to be performatively offended on behalf of others while not giving a single actual fuck about the situation in Israel etc

Yea, for sure there will be people who were really hit by it and it is at least partly tone deaf of them to have that part of the segment, even though I believe it was always in their mind to dig into MJF's backstory and give Juice just immediately more cheap heat (since it was so outta nowhere with the whole Battle Royal thing)... I don't think they had it in the back of their head to actively use the unfolding situation in the middle east to get something out of it. (That's more of a thing for a different company)
