considering nxt loaded up the show with main talent roster, I think its quite evident they were hoping for a win. they were off their timeslot and still finished top 10, nxt brought in (a bunch of people i wont mention due to spoiler rules). top 10 and 0.26 vs .18 is fairly significant as well. not saying NXT didnt do well btw, but they failed at beating AEW which was obviously the ployNXT basically did the same viewership so I'm not sure they crushed them.
