No you are right. I find they lack estsblished uppermidcarders n have too many girls booked as low card. Too much stop n go storylines as well. Why is red velvet a baddie, she feuded w her last month n is a babyface , thats weird. I think statlander dropping the alien is good because shes a top tier athlete n needs to be pushed. No shock Sammy was injured. As much as I’m a fan of his, the spot was really pointless and stupid and he’s lucky it wasn’t worse than it was.

I think while I get his gimmick is to do crazy shit, he needs to be less reckless with it and do stuff that makes a bit more sense. He's going to be retired before Darby at this rate and i'd hate to see that. Furthermore he's hurt a few people the last few years, mostly all accidents but some that could be avoided with maybe bit more carefulness and planning stuff out. Especially in this particular case: how the heck is Scorp supposed to catch him, its just too dangerous and unnecessary , especially that early in a match. Glad to hear he's ok though!

Taking this chance to put over that while Darby's spots are usually insane and probably more dangerous than what Sammy does, they do always tend to make sense in some way for either the angle or the match psychology

Yeah, like there is a time and place for certain things also. But that spot probably is just best to never do. One little fuck up and it could’ve been way way worse. Hopefully he tones it down slightly. Cause some of the shit he does is great, his cutter spot on Cody is something that will be in packages for years, but that shit against Sky will only be in botch videos folks make for YouTube.

Honestly, I always thought the reason Sammy and Darby do stupid spots is because they seen the likes of Jeff Hardy, Ricochet, and a handful of others do stupid spots and it popped the crowd so what copy it, you know.

yeh and, correct me if I'm wrong, but i've never felt Darby puts his opponents in any danger
