The Spring Breaks and clusterfucks felt like they lost their way for a while but Janela really nailed it this year imo. They delivered entertaining and memorable moments that were highlights of the week.
on Fuego losing the mask…the first thing I thought when he took the fall was he had to be good looking. Good looking guys don’t always like being in the mask because, while they can make some bucks on the merch…it limits their ability to progress in their careers because there are dozens of masked guys who can get booked. So I figured it was his way of saying…hey…I’m a good looking guy who can work let’s take another look at me. I always think about El Hijo del Fantasma. He got as far in AAA as he was going to get…had a year or so run in the TNA midcard…and said...screw this I’m a good looking guy and dropped the mask and is in WWE.
but then he left his boots in the ring so what do I know?
