What I'm trying to say is that now the gangs have gotten so big even the police are afraid of them, and you can't just arrest gang members and execute them. The gangs will fight back. And how many Mexican immigrants actually do much in the society? Why can't they just be like any other nationality and apply for the green card?
Gangs/Mafia's in the 30's and 40's were WAAAYYY bigger. but they did things differently.
Today- They carry guns openly. They openly bully and beat. They don't care bout being arrested really, and won't hesitate to use violence or even guns. They're more careless, ruthless, and police know that, unlike in the 40's, if you attempt to arrest one on something like petty theft, you'll soon be arresting him for gun possesion, resisiting arrest, assualting an officer, and then you'll be arresting 3-4 more, who attempt to "defend" him, but only end up shooting or beating the officer, and then get caught. "Gangsters" now-a-days, are dumber, and more carless.
30's and 40's- They had actual organizations. They had incomes, that had NOTHING to do with their illegal bussiness. The boss didn't participate dirrectly in the activities. He told a Brug, who told a Captain, who told a button man, who THEN directed the soldiers. And their soldiers didn't carelessly beat random people or cops. They did their job, did it efficiently, without attracting a ton of attention, unlike nowadays where they go around blazing their guns half the time. They were smart then. They were cold and calculating, and cared about what happened to them. They didn't take everything like a personal insult against them.
Also, police today. They're ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE in most countries. A police force will send like 2 officers to patrol a place like Over-The-Rhine (which is a major drug and gang area in Cincinnati), and they'll send like 5 to patrol the rest of the city. Cincinnati is a crime ridden city, and they've got around 7-10 police patroling it. A random fag could walk down the street, and see a drug deal happening. Yet, where are the police? Bully. Police now, nothing. Most don't care about their job, most don't care about what happens at all.
Like my uncle said once "I heard the police are putting up camera's on a street corner. Then they thought, 'But what if somebody steals that!' So they put a camera to watch the first camera, then they have to have a 3rd to watch the second, 4th to watch the 3rd, and so on. And you know what going on under all those cameras? All the drug deals."
Thats my...bit more than 0.02
