Yeah it makes me wonder if they would have given Blake the belt if not for that, but I'm stoked he's going to be appearing on those now. I assume he'll still be able to make GCW appearances too like Mox does. I love how free all that is, just so cool to see them in different wrestling environments. Like Mox in GCW is so different to me sometimes compared to his AEW appearances, he's so good at doing small little different touches in each.Yeah it's mostly just if they're trying to take the belt off Moxley soon for whatever reason, Effy is one of the main options if so. Even more than Blake really cause as it's been reported he's already signed to AEW/ROH himself now lol
The match was made following events that took place on Monday’s Filthy Four Daily. Lawlor took offense to Alvarez claiming responsibility for his victory over Toru Yano in the G1 Climax tournament. Lawlor eventually challenged Alvarez to a match where he would team with Debbie Malenko to take on Alvarez and Starkz.
Alvarez texted Malenko to offer her the match. However, Alvarez calimed that she couldn’t be in Chicago that weekend. Lawlor said he would have a new tag team partner by the end of the show, eventually revealing Kelly as his teammate.
