Like if I was able to watch a shit ton more wrestling and watched as many as I could I'd probably rank AEW and NJPW 1 and 2

I mean they are like leagues ahead with the in ring action. Their angles are extremely basic, almost nonexistent. But they tell compelling stories in the ring, so...

AEW just has that freshness and unpredictability. Even when they try shit and it fails, I tend to like it more than most stuff WWE does, because it's different at least.

I don't think any company has ever been able to tell stories in their matches like 2010s NJPW honestly

Also great about AEW is that they give their storylines plenty of time to play out, and also have a knack for mixing in multiple storylines and shit.

I mean some of the Kobashi/Misawa matches in AJPW and NOAH yeah but NJPW was way more consistent about it

I do love interwoven stories.

Like Chris Jericho simultaneously feuding with Matt Hardy, The Elite, Mike Tyson, Colt Cabana and Orange Cassidy.
