After a long hiatus, the Classic PPV LDs are back with a PPV taking place right in the midst of the Attitude Era's golden period. Fully Loaded 2000 from July 23 at the Reunion Arena in Dallas, Texas!

This show is best known for a rare triple main event in which three of the WWF's most established main event players squared off in singles matches against three of the top up-and-comers on the roster. The three matches headlining tonight's event will be Kurt Angle vs. The Undertaker, Chris Jericho vs. Triple H in a Last Man Standing match, and Chris Benoit vs. WWF Champion The Rock, in which a DQ can result in a title change!

As for the preliminary matches of the evening, we'll see Val Venis defending the Intercontinental Championship against Rikishi in a steel cage match, Eddie Guerrero defending the European Championship against Perry Saturn and Edge & Christian defending the WWF Tag Team Titles against The APA... PLUS! Trish Stratus makes her PPV debut as she teams with Test and Albert to battle Team Xtreme in a six-person tag match!

2000 is possibly my favourite year for WWE. It's just really damn good, there's so many main event players and good cards. Hard to even really say who's year it was, but I think there's a hell of a good case to be made for Triple H. He really was hitting his peak, especially his matches with Cactus Jack.

Yeah, I think Triple H is sort of the consensus choice for who dominated 2000. And fair enough. It was his best year as a worker probably and he was firing on all cylinders as a character. Plenty of great matches and moments to his credit as well.
