Frankie Kazarian is reportedly sticking with AEW.

According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Frankie Kazarian has signed a new contract with AEW. Terms of the deals were not disclosed.

Kazarian was an original member of the AEW roster when the company was founded in 2019. He was also one-half of the first-ever AEW Tag Team Champions alongside Scorpio Sky. They defeated The Lucha Bros (Penta El Zero M and Rey Fénix) in the finals of the tournament to win the titles. The duo held the belts for 83 days before losing them to Hangman Page & Kenny Omega.

Kazarian most recently wrestled on the January 19 episode of AEW Dynamite, losing to Lance Archer. He is regularly featured on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation.

Kazarian is great, he always puts other people over really well & even if you know he's gonna lose he acts like every match is his last. I'm rooting for him to get a run of sorts eventually, he's a great worker

I don't look forward to him being made to look like a jobber after being pushed as an Elite Hunter.

He's the type of guy who can teach a lot of newer wrestlers and be able to a decent threat at the midcard level while having enough value to give a rub to people. He also always puts on good matches.

The only thing I want is for him to get that spark as a singles competitor so hopefully we can see him a touch more higher in the card. That way he can get some extra attention and also when he puts someone over it means more.

I honestly have no idea what the heck the plan was here. maybe some faction warfare that got scrapped, idk. either way, it was a failure lol

The only part that worked was when he showed up in Impact chasing after them and was like fuck my past here I don't care about that I just wanna fight the Elite

Mean, the elite pulled a Double J and created their own company they can never look bad...so you think Frankie was going to accomplish that gimmick, lol

I feel like they had some sort of plans (esp that they are all friends and bucks retired his tag team) so I'm left kind of baffled why nothing ever came of it. whether tony nixed it, or something happened with the good brothers, i dunno. he never really teamed up with christian and co, and was written out of the feud, which was really a catalyst for Jungle folks to go over the bucks and give them a rub before they took the belts from Lucha Bros. just weird stuff

Yeah, from what I have heard it kind of reminded me of Hunter Club, which was led by Yoshitastu and he was going to take down/destroy Bullet Club and all, and it was just a failure as well.
