Forum bets to win upgrades.

Do you think I should do this every PPV?

For example, Randy Savage and Darksidetrin both participated in bets with me over match results. If I lost, they'd get a free upgrade to either Legend or Superstar (if they're accepted, then it's legend), if I won, they'd pay for it.

I'm tempted to hold these monthly as it's quite fun and it gets people talking and actually makes people more interested in the PPV. Not only that it gives users a chance to win free upgrades.

What do you think?

You definitely would have. If someone offered bets then I would have bet that Cena won at WM and lost at ER. Proof that it really is just my opinion which isn't always right.

I don't know, I'm not quite fond on the idea of someone winning Legend Membership via a bet. But it's your call.

They'd still have to be approved, if they weren't approved then they'd just win Superstar (or an award if they're already superstar). The only difference would be them upgrading for free instead of paying.

I'm cool with it then. But tell me, let's suppose we bet and you win. Then, nothing happens, right? If I want to upgrade I'll have to pay, correct?

Yeah there will be. There'll be less of a competitive edge as you can't win an upgrade but perhaps some awards can be up for grabs (unless you have those too -.-). I don't want to leave our legends out.

This is the tough one. I can't force people to pay once they lose. The stipulation is if you win you get legend, if you lose you pay for it, but it sort of means pay for it asap. If we made it so whenever you want to upgrade you pay that could mean people avoiding it and just keep betting. Unless we perhaps make it so if you lose the bet and don't pay you can't take part in upgrade bets any more until you do.

That's tough. I'm relying a lot on common decency from users, but our users are awesome so I don't predict too much trouble. I advise people to only take part if they are in a position where they can pay if they lose though lol.
