Slam! Wrestling is reporting that Waldo Von Erich, the tag team partner of Fritz Von Erich, died last night at the age of 75 in Kitchener, Ontario.

Von Erich's name was actually Walter Sieber, and although he was billed as Fritz' brother he was not actually related to the famous Von Erich wrestling family. Fritz and Sieber met while working for Stampede Wrestling when it was owned and operated by Stu Hart and eventually went on to work with WWWF and even challenged Bruno Sammartino for the WWWF Championship.

Waldo Von Erich trained young wrestlers later in his life, including TNA's Eric Young.

tbh im not going to say I knew the guy cause I have never seen one match or have heard of him... But he sounds like a pretty important individual back in his prime, so R.I.P
