Former WWE creative team member John Piermarini has started his blog (http://wrestlingrecall.blogspot.com/) in which he has released a ton of scoops regarding things that occured in the company during the two years he was employed. The blog has since been pulled (the Website does say it will be back soon) but we have managed to retain some of the things Piermarini said. Here is what he wrote about popular WWE star Christian and the company’s internal view of him:

“As much as it seems Christian turns into the fan favorite choice to win Money in the Bank Match each year it’s not going to happen. Christian is seen as a good hand that can help some of the younger talent and does not have a lot of support from higher ups to be a Main Event guy. Edge vs. Christian as a Main Event program has been pitched to death and rejected every time.â€

“Before Christian was injured a story was being developed to turn Christian heel and work a program with Fattt Matt Hardy. The seeds were being dropped on Smackdown at the time Christian was injured.â€

  • The storyline between Daniel Bryan and The Bella Twins was actually first pitched by The Bella’s. WWE has planned to run with a similar storyline for Evan Bourne before he was injured.
  • There was talk that Drew McIntyre would be the man to take out the Undertaker before it was changed to Nexus.
  • On the Undertaker, the plan right now is for him to wrestle Wade Barrett at WrestleMania 27, but of course this could change.

  • Vince McMahon feels that powerhouse Skip Sheffield could become a top babyface behind John Cena.

  • Michelle McCool’s real-life relationship with The Undertaker was in no way the reason behind her push with Lay-Cool.

  • There were plans to turn Christian heel before his pectoral injury. The idea was that he would feud with the now departed Fattt Matt Hardy.

  • On the Uso’s WWE introduction and promo, Vince McMahon didn’t understand the hip hop culture and the appeal of the tag-team. The original idea for the Uso’s was to present them as the opposite of what you would expect from a Samoan superstar – intelligent, educated and wearing boots while competing.

I'm all for inside information, so this guy is our Assange. Wrestleleaks I guess. Nothing really all that shocking, some seem like stuff I've speculated on in other forums.

I don't like the idea of Skip Sheffield as a face, since he failed so miserably on NXT with it, and was digging him as the enforcer of Nexus. He looked like a freaking monster when he was about clothesline people.

I'm also glad the Michelle McCool speculation can be put to rest, I've come to admire her workrate in the ring and seen vast improvements on her part, and Lay-Cool are very effective heels, very irritating.

Thoguhts.

So basically, the Bella twins are pushing to be portrayed as sluts? :p

But yeah, I'm happy that there's some evidence that Christian vs. Edge won't be main eventing 'Mania. Whilst I'd be happy to see that match, I don't think it'd happen, and I'm tired to hearing it in every Wrestlemania prediction.

The strangest part was saying that they think Skip Sheffield could be a huge star. That could only happen if he has a complete gimmick overhaul since his current one was a joke. Yes the guy is huge but he needs a lot more than that to get over with the crowd.

The bit about Vince not understanding The Uso's reminds me of when Vince supposedly couldn't understand the appeal behind Paul Birchall's pirate gimmick when Pirates of the Carribean was huge. He really doesn't stay up to date with the recent trends does he.

Christian back as a heel would be nice to see, I really liked his run before he left WWE to TNA when he was a heel. He plays the role really well and even though he is a fan favourite he can easily get the crowd to turn on him.

Nothing mind-blowing in these leaks but it does confirm a lot of things.
