I look at it as great news Montana. Sure, its a HUGE loss for Ring Of Honor, but ROH is battle tested. This is the same promotion that lost AJ Styles, Homicide, Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, and Austin Aries at the same time, and these guys were Ring Of Honor staples at the time. If they could rebound from that, losing Danielson wont hurt much at all. The Indy circuit is full of hungry wrestlers that will be looking to potentially take Danielson's place.

I was kinda joking, but i do have mixed feelings.

I think its a great move for danielson, and its the next logical step. He's worked for this for a very long time, and really has done just about everything he could with ROH. In return Danielson to WWE should bring a few more wwe fans eyes to ROH.

At the same time, I fail to see how this good for ROH. Yes, ROH can survive without danielson, i just see Danielson as a franchise guy, and a leader. You can't just replace that. Theres only so many loses you can take, before your in the danger zone. I guess i might be fearing what's next. Just about all their stars got 2 year deals. I worry danielson's not the only one. Also, its going to slow down the progress of taking it to the next level, assuming they want to grow. I do think the roster movement, is one good thing about ROH. But losing danielson is like the wwe losing HBK, in a lot of ways. Yes, everything will work out, its not something your excited about.

So.. Gabe Sapolsky has declined to comment on the situation. My "peoples" are saying that the problem is that Danielson breached his ROH contract by wrestling in the Dark Match (It seems he didn't tell Gabe about it, either).

There's talk of maybe giving Bryan a fine, but that's about it for punishment. There is one thing, though... something similar happened not long with Daizee Haze (When she wrestled on Impact) and Gabe was quick to point out that she was still a part of the ROH roster. Danielson wrestles a dark match and Gabe offers no comment.

I don't want to say that something more is up (Because there's no way to really know) but it sure feels like it.

The dark match was just two of HBK's boys going at it (he did train both of them). I'm sure it was a fun little reunion.

Danielson in WWE would only work if A.) He got an actual character... and B.) Came out to FINAL COUNTDOWN every show.

Maybe Gabe is in talks with the E' about trading Danielson for a couple of lessons from them about video production, because really they're more in need of the latter at this point.

Either way it's great news for ArmDrag. Hopefully he thinks about it first before jumping to the Fed (if that is the case though.)

Update of ArmDrag:

- Ring of Honor released the following message on their website: "Bryan Danielson worked a dark match for WWE last Monday with the permission of Ring Of Honor."

Goddamn you WWE for the smark cocktease of the century!!

I really think people are making a bigger deal out of this than it really is. Danielson has repeatedly stated that he's doing just fine for himself as an indy/Japan superstar. Considering that his opponent was Lance Cade, I'd have to say that this was just a nostalgia thing for them as they both trained together under Shawn Michaels.

Couldn't all of that be said for the loss of Samoa Joe and AJ Styles in terms of full-time committment? They overcame that so fingers crossed they would be able to do the same if Danielson does leave.

Well, I think he could be a very solid mid card player, without changing anything, but the music. Look at CM Punk/ Matt Sydal those guys got over simply with their history and in ring skills. Its true, Danielsons style is much different from those two, but, the wwe is going to need a replacement for Kurt Angle "the wrestling machine" So danielson could probably make a decent career for himself, assuming the E wants to use him.

Yeah, thats what rell was saying. They "Overcame" it, and im not saying they won't 'Overcome" losing Danielson, the problem i see, theres only so many loses you can take. ROH took a huge hit when (Joe, Cide, Aries, Daniels, Colt) left, I still say they haven't fully recovered. ROH should be in a growing stage, not losing its big stars. But in actuality, this is going to happen. Its growing pains.

Its like looking at a glass half full, or half empty. Im more corcerned who else may be leaving.

Ive said a few times, there isn't much left in ROH for danielson.

For what its worth, ROH posted this on the ROH site.

"Bryan Danielson worked a dark match for WWE last Monday with the permission of Ring Of Honor."

Now that's all fine and dandy, but my question is this... WHY DIDN'T THEY MAKE THIS STATEMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?

If you mean Why they didn't tell anybody that Bryan Danielson went to Wrestle a Dark Match in the WWE?, Then my guess is that they wanted to keep it a secret and surprise everybody.

I definitely understand that, and I wouldn't be surprised if Ring Of Honor loses Chris Hero and Delirious in the near future. Hero has been a little inconsistent with his appearances, and Larry Sweeny keeps cutting these promos about selling Hero to "Vince" and he's obviously referring to Vince Mcmahon. It reminds me of the old Mick Foley/CM Punk promos, and we all saw what that led to.

As for Delirious, besides running the Ring Of Honor school, he's not doing much at all. He's pretty much a glorified jobber at this point. WWE has been interested in him for a while, If I'm him, I'd definitely look to make that jump.

Danielson, if he signs, will do well for himself.

He's mates with Regal *who's obviosuly not getting punished, hence Burchill to tide Kennedy over* and trained by HBK, so he'd probably be in with HHH too by proxy. He'll make a fine shotgun jobber.

I really don't think that Delirious would leave. He's been offered countless contracts and he's turned all of them down.

Yeah, but things looked promising then. It seemed like Delirious was on his way to being one of Ring Of Honors elite. He's hit a road block, and he's obviously never going to be more than low/mid-carder. Look at his journey, just a couple years ago, Delirious was coming off a Survival of the Fittest win, and looked like he'd be champion down the line. Now he's jobbing to the YRR. Talk about change...

Well that does make sence. I hope that he doesn't jump because in WWE I really don't think that he'll do any more than he is in ROH.

I remember back in the day, the WWE was extremely high on Danielson. He was offered a contract and turned it down from what I remember and the WWE let him know that it was always on the table should he change his mind.

I'm pretty sure Regal told him to hold off on signing and get some more experience before jumping to the WWE right away.
