He was so pissed off when he found out about the trade. He'll be gone before season's end.

He basically plays for nothing so unless the Marlins want absolutely no one to come to the park they will keep him. That's just what I think.

I hear what you're saying but he's going to demand a trade, and you can't have a disgruntled player in the dugout.

That'd be a bad look for him though. I don't really hear about too many baseball players demanding trades either. We will see.

We have made one (IMO) good trade, with Tampa bay sending over a bullpen pitcher for us. Nothing much else in works for the crew, but you can expect 2013 to be big for us, if we are in contention we make some good signings, if not plan on seeing a few Crew members in june going elsewhere for some potentially big prospects. We have a 2nd basemen ready in 2014, and a first basement possibly a sept callup, so it's either we keep Hart and Weeks and make some big prospect trades for a big playmaker, or we move Hart and Weeks for some dank prospects. Detroit, im talking to you, same as Texas.

It's harder to find a solid hitting second baseman than OF Keep Weeks, trade hart.

Hart is pretty much a total package, I wouldn't get rid of him.

We have tried signing both to long term contracts, i am saying if it doesnt work out this season (last season of their contracts) we will trade them if out of contention, otherwise we will be trading prospects.

Corey Hart most likely will sign long term, he has said he wants to retire in the crew gear (And we all love him)

Weeks is fielders best friend, and people value him way over what he is. He could be amazing, and always has that potential, but we have a 2nd basemen who could be locked up for 6 major league seasons to keep for a lot cheaper. Gotta do what's best for the crew. Weeks is not a great defender, watch some of his errors on youtube.

Weeks did under perform last year. I believe it was below .250 ( On my fantasy squad) The reason why he is valuable is because how many second baseman put up numbers that he can produce? If you weight your options, the choice for me would be to keep Weeks. Age isn't the factor because they have to be around the same age. The thing is Win over replacement. Sabermetrics would tell you that he is a better player at his position than hart in his career. That's just baseball 101.

What's baseball? Some gay version of cricket?

I think in Australia they call it baseball. Australia can see what it is, but it still isn't good enough to do it right.

He hit over 310 before he was injured before, and also had sick #s before his injured season of 2011, same as Lucroy did this year. The only big # man was Morgan who came back from injury to keep doing work (nearly a career .300 hitter, hope he goes somewhere i like)

Weeks has tremendous upside, but we have a sick 2nd basemen who doesnt expect the salary of weeks, with the same amount of risk. Ill take Scooter Gennett, and a big prospect or two, not to mention 10 million saved easily. I want hart, Lucroy, Gallardo, and Brauny until 2020.

I'm not really familiar with the farm system of the Milwaukee brewers to be honest. So i'll take your word for it. That's one ball player that i'd love to have on the mets though if push came to shove.

Your farm system wouldnt work for me. We also have a good owner (no offense)

We have a sick 1st basemen coming up, along with Gamel being major league ready (corey hart at 1st) along with an already overfilled outfield.

Weeks is going to lose to gennett, who is like the sox pedroia. Smaller, plus defense (we need) and an above avg hitter.

Both have a ton of potential, and id like to have both on my team forever, but will take big prospects for it. Ask the jays fan how much he enjoys the marcum tade they made.

Lawrie for Marcum was pretty good for us, but I really like Marcum. He brought a lot of stability to our rotation, took a lot of pressure off of the young guys like Romero. The rotation hasn't been the same since. Well until now :eek:tunga:
