Since the first 3 hour ppv in 2004. Even now, I prefer to watch TNA wrestling than WWE. No, the quality isn't better many times but it's my preference. I've been to more TNA house shows and ppvs because I love the atmosphere. Most of the fans who attend, that I talk to, are a lot more fun.

I even like the aesthetic of TNA. I like the ring level ramp now. I like the ppv set. I like that their champion isn't losing on tv every week. I like fresh feuds like Hardy/Anderson or Joe/Angle a few years ago.

From 2004-2008 I really did believe TNA was putting out a better in-ring product than WWE. That's just my opinion. I got tired of seeing John Cena, Batista, Triple H.

It takes different strokes for different folks and for me I just enjoy TNA wrestling a little more.

I certainly can't blame you, when TNA is good it can be lots of fun to watch, I've just had a problem with the current product because there are just too many negatives and its starting to outweigh the positives. However, one thing is for sure, TNA has an amazing roster with tons of very talented wrestlers who I actually want to see. No matter how bad the writing is, the sheer talent on the roster will always keep me coming back.

Samoa Joe vs Kurt Angle was one of the biggest missed opportunities ever, and pretty much marked the downturn of TNA.

I think with TNA, especially on pay-per-views, the ups and downs are a lot more extreme than WWE. Some matches are just jaw dropping amazing, and others just make you put your head down in shame that you actually just watched that crap.

It started to suck when Russo got hired. Hardly a coincidence.

What TNA really nneds to do is fire everyone involved in the creative. Hogan, Bisch, Russo and Mantel need to hit the bricks, FAST. You can't go forward if you have self serving bookers, taht's just wrestling history. Happened with Dusty running Crockett in the 80's, happened with Gagne and the AWA, both with Russo and Bischoff in WCW, especially Russo and his cocksuckery with Jeff Jarrett..hell TNA's world title scene ALWAYS sucked until Jarrett took his hiatus, he's just not a star that he or Russo think he is. And then there is Hogan, the ultimate "me-first" guy in wrestling history. You can't have that much ego in charge of a company that needs to make the right choices to advance. Guys like RVD, Sting, the Band, 3D and so on need to be laying on their backs for the AJs, Joes, Wolfes and Popes that the company's future hinders on. It needs to be like the late 80's WWF when Vince was transitioning former mega stars like Tito Santana, Jimmy Snuka, Don Muraco and to a lesser extent, Andre to jobber to the stars roles like Kane is serving now. Having RVD as your champ isn't taking you anywhere that you haven't been before and it doesn't matter how over he is in a freakin theme park with the same fanboys attending the shows, he should be doing the favor to a young buck like Joe or Wolfe and NOT feuding with Sting. Until TNA realizes they aren't preparing themselves for the future, it's really hard to say they have one.

And it's sad because they do have a great collection of talent, but that will only take you as far as the people utilizing it.

I can't watch either TNA or WWE. However, If I was forced to watch one I would pick TNA. I was a fan like 4-6 years ago when they had Americas Most Wanted, XXX, Monty Brown, Jeff Hardy, The Monster Abyss, Sonny Siaki, Team Canada, and Raven. Now days, it sucks pretty bad.

yeah they seem to put more effort in ppv matches. almost like theyre trying to make up for being in such a small place.
