Here are two Tweets from Foley commenting on his return to WWE.

“There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home.”

“Thanks to all in Dublin for a great time tonight. I might be stopping by a few @WWE shows on my days off – Nov 5,8,9 on my UK comedy tour.”

After being in a company where people probably went up to him saying where did you go since you left WWE since they don't know what TNA I figured he'd be overly happy to be back in the biggest company again.

I hope Foley's actually wrestling when he comes back. I want to see him wrestle and do other stuff.

I tip my hat to Prodigy who called it that Foley would return on the UK tour.

Hopefully he appears on television soon and has a regular non-wrestling role. I wouldn't mind seeing one more match but I don't want him wrestling regularly again. Each match he wrestles should be special and not just another match.

I reckon he should be there to push mid-carders over or something.

He can still wrestle well and such, I wouldn't mind him in the ring.

He is too old and out of shape to wrestle regularly. I don't want him to become the Hogan or Flair of WWE where they wrestle all the time and are over exposed. Him wrestling regularly would be a bad move, he is a big enough name to push a big match each year but if it happens too often no-one will care. He would be better used as a manager or as a GM.

The thing I like about the WWE way more than TNA is the fact that they tend to phase out their older wrestlers unless they're still physically in great shape and show minimal signs of slowing down. The ten oldest active competitors in the company are Undertaker (46), Kane (44), Mark Henry (40), Big Show & R-Truth (39), Christian (37), Rey Mysterio (36) and Alberto Del Rio, John Cena & Yoshi Tatsu (34). Other than Undertaker (who will probably have his last match at Wrestlemania 28) and Rey Mysterio (whose body is beginning to break down through various injuries) the rest have continued to do great these past few years.

With Foley, he's 46 and probably not in very good shape, so personally I want him to return as the Raw General Manager. The WWE can continue with Laurinaitis as the Interim GM for a few more months if they have to, but I'd love to see Foley get the job instead of making occasional appearances. I'm sure he still has plenty to offer in that kind of role and would really be an interesting GM, one that has a history of not being afraid to get his hands dirty.

On a side note, is anyone else sick of Long as Smackdown GM? He was great at the start, but now it has dragged on and his appearances are for making matches that I call before he even make his way out from the back.

I feel bad for Yoshi Tatsu on that list. All the others are, or at least have been, maineventers whereas he is barely used on any show and has yet to win a title. Very surprised that he is 34.

I would be very happy if Foley was RAW GM as finally there would be an entertaining GM on RAW. Too many of them have been terrible.

I don't mind Teddy Long as Smackdown GM. He cuts to the chase and only makes big announcements, he isn't used in too many pointless storylines.

I was surprised myself when I found out Tatsu was 34. He has accomplished nothing in the WWE and has often been sparingly used, but I think he frequently appears on the current season of NXT... which really isn't anything considering how terrible the season has become.

Add Hunico to the list of 34 year olds too. Kevin Nash (52), Triple H (42) and The Rock (39) would be in my list, but obviously they're not frequent competitors and are probably only temporarily back. I didn't add The Great Khali (39) either as he's apparently leaving the company, although it's yet to be announced.

But anyway, back on topic. Can anybody else think of a better Raw General Manager than Mick Foley? I fail to name anybody that would add something new and fresh to the show.

NXT has basically became ECW this season. Yoshi has direction now and a character, just like guys like Kidd and JTG. At least his face is being exposed to overseas markets and those who watch the webcast, which is a step up from doing nothing.

And Khali is going to work one more match for WWE, as he stated he was training for when they came to India.

I really like Yoshi Tatsu's new look on NXT. Hopefully it leads to somewhere, at least get him on Smackdown regularly in a midcard feud so he can showcase what he can do.

As for others that could be RAW GM I think that Regal would be good in the role again and would be the best option besides Foley.

Mick Foley appeared on Wrestling Voice Radio this week and spoke about returning to WWE last week at a live event from Dublin, Ireland.

When asked about why Foley chose an overseas house show for his big return, Foley said:

"The basic answer is because I just happened to be flying into Dublin the day they were there and my hotel was literally across the street. I called and asked if I could come hang out and it was a lot of fun."

Foley was originally advertised November 14th RAW Supershow from Boston featuring The Rock's return, but says he wasn't surprised when WWE scrapped the idea and decided to keep the attention on The Rock that night.

Foley also said he probably has one big match left in him and named The Miz as the person he'd want to wrestle against.
Meh, really wouldn't want to see Foley/Miz, would be such a drab match.

Why Miz is what I wonder. From a promo standpoint it'd be good but match standpoint I don't see it.

Foley must just like what he sees in Miz and thinks that he would be able to help him. I wouldn't mind the match because you know that Foley would do everything he can to make Miz look like even more of a star than he already is.
