Ric Flair recently spoke out on the Between The Ropes radio show about a possible match against Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania and said the following: "Never. I would be very open to it if Shawn Michaels said 'don't give me the Rolex back, do it.' That would be the only way. Shawn would have to say 'go for it because you miss it that much,' which I don't. I miss the boys."

We reported a couple days ago that WWE has lured a few talents away from a charity event that TNA star Booker T is running on the same weekend as Wrestlemania. The show was to feature such talents as Torrie Wilson, Nick Bockwinkle and Ron Simmons, however WWE booked them for their Wrestlemania Axxess weekend instead. In an interview which you can read in The Houston Press, Booker commented on the situation by saying "It's not going to stop anything, we're still going to go forward with it. We're just replacing those people with actually bigger names. I don't think me doing my charity is going to hurt the revenue of WrestleMania, or hurt the Hall of Fame. We're not doing this, you know, to hurt WrestleMania, or ride their coattails or anything."

When asked if he could comment on the situation WWE spokesperson Bob Zimmerman said "I don't even know what his charity deal is, to be perfectly honest with you."

Ric, just go away.

I love that last line from Booker....were not doing it to hurt mania or ride there coattails. Bullshit. Is he basically trying to convince us he didn't realize that was wrestlemania weekend? Of course he's doing it to ride there coat tails. He's just trying to capitalize on the extra wrestling foot traffic that will be in the area. That would be riding coat tails.

Damit Ric just give up. You are turning into a Hulk Hogan. Doesn't know when to hang up the boots.

You scared me there. I though Flair was announcing he was coming back.
Evil Austin, what are you talking about? He clearly said he wasn't coming back.

Still WWE should not have done that. Booker is trying to do a charity event which IMO is great. I mean hell WWE let Ron Simmons go why do they want him there. I swear Vince and all there ego's at the WWE is just wrong.

Because Vince is putting a gun to Simmons' head and forcing him to go right?

No but the fact that Vince even did it shows how low he is. Do you think Vince would want them people there if Booker didn't have him at his show which like it said IS FOR CHARITY. Which means Booker is not doing it for himself but for a good cause.

Sure, Vince is a douche for making a counter offer but it takes two to tango. Both shoulder equal blame.

I guess Vince is in the bad for wanting to make as much money as possible. HOW DARE HE WANT TO RUN A SUCCESSFUL BUSINESS! HE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF!

Flair made the right decision, when you retire thats it...YOU'RE DONE. Don't whore yourself out like Hogan and make 50 "one time" appearances that less and less people care about over time

Whats more important here Vince making more money or Charity getting money. Hell I would be saying its wrong even if TNA took stars away from one.

The fact Booker T thought he could milk extra cash on Wrestlemania weekend and it backfiring is his fault, not the WWE's

The money is for Charity. So he is so wrong for trying to get money for Charity and doing it on the best weekend to do it. Which is WM. I mean really this was the best time to get money for it. This proves Vince does not like even the smallest companies maybe taking a little bit away from him. Vince and WWE has enough money I'm sure if they would have let that be they would not go bankrupt.

You are blind if you really think the event was entirely for charity. I mean, there was no way Booker would use that event, so conveniently placed in WM weekend, to give advertising to PWA and TNA.

Vince counter offered those talents for his events. It isn't as if he killed the event. My God, I won't get to see Torrie Wilson, shame. Be serious, it's a business.
