Cena has tied Flairs 16 times champion but he may have had as many as 26 runs.

Around 10 of them are unrecognised. The run is a bit sketchy but It would seem at least 3 or 4 of those 10 unrecognised changes are actual title reigns.

I have seen other claims Flair has won the title 23 times. No wonder the territory system died though WCW carnage and chaos had a precedent.

The other 10 are the same titles for the most part, just various sorts of shenanigans and several of them do appear to be legit runs.

Yeah I'm not doubting his reigns per say just questioning why you'd class the none major world titles he won.

Regardless of the "legit"ness or not, Ric Flair has had 21 World title reigns if you even look at the criteria WWE uses. Cena did not tie Flair. He simply became the second in world title reigns, in which he already reigned.
