First Look At Christoph Waltz As Dr. King Schultz On The Set Of 'Django Unchained'
Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. With filming underway on Quentin Tarantino's slavery/spaghetti wester/vengeance tale "Django Unchained" the production has been keeping everything surrounding the film tightly under wraps, with little leaking out. Until now.
A first look at Christoph Waltz in costume as Dr. King Schultz on the set of the film has arrived (ChristophWaltzFans.com via ONTD). He plays the bounty hunter who pairs up with a freed slave (Jamie Foxx) to track down his wife (Kerry Washington) who is being held by a sadistic plantation owner, Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio). What else can we tell you that you don't already know...and holy shit, is that a gun in his pocket or is Waltz just happy to see you? And here's a small additional morsel of info. Last month, the Hattiesburg American reported that largely unknown actor Johnny McPhail landed a (probably tiny) role in the film. So there, you go.
Samuel L. Jackson, Sacha Baron Cohen, Dennis Christopher, Kurt Russell, Laura Cayouette, Don Johnson, M.C. Gainey, Tom Savini, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony LaPaglia, RZA, Misty Upham, Tom Wopat, James Remar, James Russo, Todd Allen, Rex Linn, Catherine Lambert, Daniele Watts and Michael Bacall round out the credit busting cast. "Django Unchained" arrives on Christmas Day.
