Lol @ Backstreet Boys.

I never bought a cassette until I got my 3rd card and it had a cassette player. This was in 2003. So the first cassette I bought for it was "Dookie" by Green Day.

The first CD I bought with my own money...I can't remember which of the 4 it was, but it was between "14:59" by Sugar Ray (which blows now), "Candyass" by Orgy (again, it blows now too), "A Place In The Sun" by Lit (I still love this album), and "Americana" by the Offspring (which are one of my favorite bands, so of course I love that one).

I had to choose between Green Day's American Idiot or 50 Cent's thing in that year with "Disco Inferno." I picked Green Day, and I thank God I made that choice.

I forget the cassette. I think it was either Backstreet Boys' first album or the Space Jam soundtrack

As for CD, not even sure about that at all, really. I don't have hardly any CD's or cassettes. Almost all my music is downloaded.
