There's only six active women in SDlive's division and one of them is champion. I don't see a five-Women ladder match flowing well so I assume Nikki is coming back or Lana is debuting soon. As cool as the idea is I don't think this is necessary. I'd much rather see a six women ladder match for the championship itself. If MitB was a cross-brand show (as it should've been) then I'd be all in.

Poor Sasha, I know she badly wanted to be in a Women's Money in the Bank match and due to the PPV, frustratingly, being Smackdown exclusive, it looks like she's going to miss that chance. As for who could be in the match, I recall reading awhile ago that Summer Rae was cleared to return, I think she's technically on Raw, but I don't see any real tangible reason they can't just bring her back on Smackdown. Not that I necessarily want that but she could fill the spot fine. As for another spot filler, Eva Marie is still under contract, isn't she? I know she's basically on her way out anyway, but if you need more bodies why not just throw her in there?

Anyway, I'm a fan of this idea, I've wanted a Women's Money in the Bank for awhile now too.

So just double checking, Naomi's not defending her title for two PPV's straight now? I'm stoked that we're getting a women's MITB but I really don't want two straight PPV's without Naomi defending the championship, especially since she had to vacate in the first place because of that 30 day policy. I guess the rule is either "it only matters if Alexa Bliss calls you out on it" or "it only matters if you physically can't defend". There's still time though, I'm honestly not opposed to Lana getting a title shot immediately if it means the Women's Championship will be on the show.

Also, Charlotte, please moonsault off a ladder onto everyone. It'd be amazing.

I've been concerned about the booking of every SmackDown
women's champion since the title's debut...which you can read
about here...

The Curse of The SmackDown Women's Title

Naomi has been booked poorly as a Champion...but...at least she
won the title on her own both times and defended it cleanly against
Alexa before she took off to RAW.

In my opinion Bayley's title run was a lot worse.

It actually seems a shame for Naomi to miss the history making
ladder match...and it would also be a shame if she wasn't on the
card at all.

She may defend the title against Lana or Summer Rae (That is a
long shot but stranger things have happened)...but honesty if I had
my way I debut Peyton Royce & Billie Kay at Money In The Bank and
have Peyton be Naomi's special mystery opponent. I'd have Naomi
retain of course...but anything to get Peyton & Billie on SmackDown.

The best thing about this Money In The Bank match for the ladies as
it could be used in so many way as a story telling device...

~ Natalya could win and finally claim her own special piece of WWE
history...(You all know Nattie deserves it!)
~ Becky could win and use her cash-in later on down the line as the
trigger for a heel turn...
~ Carmella could win, ditch Ellsworth and cash-in at the right moment
to finally add some respectability to her main roster career...
Or
~ Charlotte could win...and continue to be Alpha Female on the company...

Frankly the only woman who would be a waste with the Briefcase is Tamina...
but...they did put the World title on Jinder...so anything can happen.

Either way...this is going to be awesome! I'm actually excited about wrestling
for the first time in a little while!

but only as long as she doesn't hurt herself or anyone else.
