I have come to a point where WWE is not confident enough in it's talent to have a singles match for either the US or IC belts at WrestleMania. They would rather not put those titles on the line and stick those champions in MITB or some other match consisting of 4 or more guys.

What happened when the US title or IC title was on the line in the last year or two? JBL vs. Rey Mysterio. The 90 second match. JBL and Rey sounds like a pretty good singles match, but apparently WWE didn't think that a mid card title match can be good at WrestleMania.

10 guys in MITB is horrible, dreadful, a terrible clusterfuck that takes away the feeling of a selected field, the best of the best up and comers working to get basically a world title run. Now it's more like the Royal Rumble, which I love, but it's too much of an 'Everybody's got a shot' 6 was the perfect number to keep the flow of the match and have just your 6 best Upper Mid Carders.

I do like Kofi being in it thought if that's how it turns out because he is so much better than Shelton in this match. Kofi is like Shelton 2.0 in MITB, he takes Benji's standard, annual ladder walk front flip and enhances it with every move he makes. Kofi and Ziggler will steal the MITB show but 10 guys may overcloud them a bit.

There was time constraints, so they made that match short. You have to remember that unlike a Breaking Point or TLC, WWE have all of their headliners in major, one-on-one feuds, so the card is always going to be relatively filled up before the midcarders even have a chance of getting a spot on the card. The IC and US Titles then suffer because they're the midcard championships. It's got nothing to do with the titles themselves - just where those titles belong on the card.

I don't like the concept of more then 8, but we'll have to see how it works.

McIntyre better run his ass to the ring, can't be strutting his stuff Randy Orton style because they have to haul ten guys to the ring with separate entrances. They need to save that time especially with so many other matches on the card this year.

They'll probably just start the next entrance when they're halfway down the ramp. If so, and if McIntyre is first out, the next nine guys might still beat him to the ring. ;D
