I'm trying to understand why you think Alco's potential buddying is irrelevant because V1 Hank ended up dying.

So far the only reason you've given me is because I was indy which doesn't add up given that Alco was town reading me. When did you know I was indy? I've got a couple of posts from Alco that show him reading me as town here?

Do you have any other reasons @Juice?

In a normal game - once you are dead you wouldn't be alive again. But you can't separate yourself from the situation. You were an indie - which means you were not a villager. You were trying to come off as a villager. You were faking it to make it - that is completely relevant to the situation.

You claim he has a couple of posts of him reading you as town - but you weren't town. That is my point.

How does that change from Alcos point of view though? If he, as scum, wanted to buddy a town player and was reading Hank as town, does that disqualify the buddy?

how does your scum read affect Alco buddying me

Because he isnt confirmed mafia or town - but you are confirmed an indie (who you have admitted) was trying to town tell.
Perhaps he simply thought you were a member of the town - in the same way I was convinced Poyser was town.

That's the point kind of. Buddying in general is a scum trait, linking yourself to a player you think is town to look good in the event of their death.

Town don't really consider buddying up to someone as they don't look for ways to look good aside from playing the game and catching scum, where as scum have to look good (preferably) without catching scum

I dont need an education - sometimes town players buddy to town players they trust and town read (even if they misread the player in question)
