I typically don't watch film trailers unless I'm forced to when I'm at the theatres, mostly because I'm not too interested in most movies. I have watched all the Venom trailers though, and while I agree in general that movie trailers tend to reveal too much, I give the Venom trailer a pass. I think they pretty much had to assuage all the fears they established with that film when teaser trailer didn't even show Venom, and the second trailer only had him in the very end. Considering how little screen-time Venom got in Spider-Man 3 and that Sony doesn't have the trust that Marvel has, I think it would've been a big mistake not to heavily showcase Venom prominently in the newest trailer.
To be frank though, while it's never good to leave the audience with the impression that they just seen the whole movie with the trailer, I can't actually recall an incident where I thought seeing the trailer dampened my experience with the movie itself. So it's not really an issue for me.
