USA vs Germany was a real solid game, if a bit uneventful at times.

I'm just waiting for Klose to score that 16 and become footy's Ric Flair

Ppl talk shit about USA, real talk Tim Howard is one of the greatest goalies in this tourney if not the greatest IMO.
Also don't forget fuckers, Jozy could very well make it back for the knockout rounds and if he's back to close full health then things will look a little different for sure.

lol so bitter

You should be thankful us Americans aren't so into soccer. All our best athletes are playing NFL, NBA etc. If our athletes were 100% dedicated to soccer and nothing else (like many countries) you can bet your ass we'd be shitting on your little jobber countries. lel

Just a random thought, but Jermaine Jones and Bastian Schweinsteiger were both eating grass. If they had a statistic of how much grass was consumed that game (USvGER speaking)

Jones: 40 % Of pitch consumed. ( Statistics given before friendly-fire mishap with Bedoya )
Schweinsteiger: 60 % Of pitch consumed.

The round of 16 starts tomorrow.

Pretty interesting draws... Except for France, you know. Will they for once get a team that's not a joke? So far it's been pretty easy for them. Both the qualifying matches for the World Cup and the WC group itself. Lucky bastards!

To be fair USA's best player is German, :p (he played in German U-21 and got annoyed at not being selected so went to the states) but yah I think if USA and China focused purely on football then they could be pretty big teams.

His Dad was American. His Mom was German-American. If anything he is way more American than German, just happened to be born in Germany while his Dad was there

TONS of countries use duel citizen players, US didn't invent that shit.

If anything blame Germany for being a bunch of blueberries that didn't think they needed Fabian Johnson... OH WAIT now they could desperately go for someone with his speed playing fullback. TOUGH SHIT.

oh and Jermaine Jones is the same shit. American Dad, born in Germany, lived in both places growing up. No more German than he is American.

We have a bunch of Germans because our servicemen were knocking up their broads while we made sure the Russians and Nazis didn't team up to take over the world. You're welcome world.
