On Thursday night, Florida Championship Wrestling held their latest television taping for their show that airs on Sunday nights at 6:00 PM on Bright House Sports Network throughout Florida for subscribers to Bright House. These results are for the shows to air on March 11th, March 18th, and March 25th.
In a dark match: Kevin Hackman defeated Sonny Elliot with a power slam.
March 11, 2012 Episode
Your announcers are William Regal and Chris Russo.
Match Number One: CJ Parker and Jason Jordan defeated Big E Langston and Alexander Rusev when Parker pinned Rusev with a rollup after Rusev missed a splash from the turnbuckles.
The next match was supposed to be Kenneth Cameron versus Byron Saxton, but Saxton came out in wearing the sling that he has been wearing for months. He says that he is not medically cleared to wrestle but he has found an opponent for Cameron.
Match Number Two: Colin Cassady defeated Kenneth Cameron with a big boot after Saxton hit Cameron from the apron with an elbow.
Match Number Three: Audrey Marie defeated Sofia Cortez with a uranage.
After the match, Paige and Raquel Diaz attacked Audrey. Kaitlyn comes out to help Audrey and Paige, Raquel, and Sofia leave the ring.
Kassius Ohno goes to the interview/promo area and he says that he does not plan to be in FCW very long. He talks about how it brings joy to him when he knocks out his opponents. He talks about how anyone can make someone tap out with a submission hold but it takes a real man to knock someone out. He says that he will have his in ring debut next week on television.
FCW President Steve Keirn and assistant Norman Smiley are in the ring and he thanks the FCW Universe for their support and he says that he has a major announcement to make, but he wants FCW General Manager Maxine to come to the ring. He talks about the psychological evaluations that she made everyone take with Dr. Bronson. Keirn wants all of the records turned over to him. Norman Smiley then tells Maxine that she is fired.
Match Number Four: Leo Kruger defeated FCW Florida Champion Mike Dalton with a sleeper to become the new FCW Heavyweight Champion.
March 18, 2012 Episode
Match Number One: James Bronson defeated Dante Dash with a choke.
Leo Kruger goes to the promo area and he says that he told everyone that he would win the title back. He talks about how people thought that Mike Dalton was the Rocky story of FCW, but he says that he is the true Rocky story of FCW.
Match Number Two: Kaitlyn and Audrey Marie defeated Paige and Sofia Cortez when Kaitlyn made Paige tap out to a full nelson using her legs.
After the match, Paige and Sofia attacked Kaitlyn and Audrey. Caylee Turner came from the ring announcer position to help Kaitlyn and Audrey. Raquel Diaz came out to help Paige and Sofia.
They go to the back where Rob Naylor and Aiden English are talking. James Bronson enters the room and he blames Naylor for everything that happened.
Match Number Three: Kassius Ohno defeated Xavier Woods with a elbow that knocked Woods out.
Raquel Diaz goes to the promo area where she wonders where her banner is and also asks why Audrey needed the help of Kaitlyn. Audrey comes out and attacks Raquel.
Jake Carter and Corey Graves are in Summer Rae’s office and she says that she sees a big future for them. Maxine enters the office and says that she is not finished with Summer. Maxine turns to Rob Naylor and slaps him. We cut to an awkward stare down between Summer and Maxine.
Match Number Four: FCW Jack Brisco 15 Champion Richie Steamboat defeated Antonio Cesaro to retain the title. Each man earned one fall during the match and as a result of the tie, Steamboat retained. Cesaro got the first fall after a little more than four minutes with a German suplex. Steamboat got his fall with a sunset flip power bomb to counter a salto suplex from the turnbuckles with about four minutes remaining.
After the match, Cesaro attacked Steamboat and took the championship medal. Cesaro celebrated while Steamboat was down, but Steamboat got up and when Cesaro turned around, Steamboat hit a super kick and took his medal back.
March 25, 2012 Episode
Match Number One: Seth Rollins won an Eight Man Scramble to become the number one contender for the FCW Heavyweight Championship when he pinned Rick Victor after Avada Kedavra.
The participants in this match were Bo Rotundo, Mike Dalton, Seth Rollins, Rick Victor, Brad Maddox, Big E Langston, Jason Jordan, and Sakamoto.
Wrestlers could be eliminated either by pinfall, submission, or being thrown over the top rope to the floor.
The order of elimination was Sakamoto (eliminated by being thrown over the top rope by Brad Maddox), Brad Maddox (eliminated by being thrown over the top rope by Mike Dalton), Big E Langston (eliminated by being thrown over the top rope by Mike Dalton and Bo Rotundo), Mike Dalton and Bo Rotundo (eliminated by being thrown over the top rope by Rick Victor, with help from Big E Langston), Jason Jordan (eliminated after a flying European uppercut from Victor), and Rick Victor (eliminated by Seth Rollins with Avada Kedavra).
Richie Steamboat went to the promo area where he talked about how Antonio was a worthy competitor last week, but he did not appreciate what Cesaro did after the match by taking the medal. He said it was disrespectful to him, the fans, and especially to Jack Brisco. Richie says that he is willing to give Cesaro a rematch.
Match Number Two: Alexander Rusev defeated CJ Parker with a German suplex.
Antonio Cesaro was in the promo area and he says that he did not take Steamboat’s medal last week because he only took what was his. Cesaro then recreates the conversation that he had with the medal after claiming it last week. He asked ‘Medal Medal in my hand, who’s the best in FCW Land’. He says that the medal told him that while Steamboat is the champion now, but Cesaro will be the champion.
Match Number Three: Kenneth Cameron defeated Nick Rogers with the spinning chinbreaker.
Match Number Four: Seth Rollins defeated FCW Heavyweight Champion Leo Kruger with God’s Last Gift to become the new FCW Heavyweight Champion.
After the match, Rollins celebrated in the ring and with the fans at ringside.
