Yea looking back on it it's quite disappointing, but as a kid I didn't really give a fuck, I was just ecstatic that Sting beat Hogan one way or the other

classic case of overbooking though. Completely unnecessary and Sting should have just gone over clean without the dusty finish

Give WCW credit though... that was quite possibly the best build to any match ever

Oh to be a mark again, everything was amazing then.
Exactly it was the beginning of the end imo, sure they had Goldberg's streak but Sting was the hottest thing in wrestling without saying a word. It kind of reminds me of the Punk storyline in some twisted way as it should have been more then it was.

Goldberg
"Crow" Sting
Hogan
Stone Cold (especially the "four corner flip-off", if you will)
Nothing like seeing the Rock raise the belt (even when he didn't have one to raise, just the gesture looked cool)

And, yes, I'm gonna say it.....the Ultimate Warrior's entrance (it just makes me laugh that he was so blown-up after his entrance that the match couldn't last more than 5 or 6 minutes most nights)

Warrior definitely is worthy of a mention. He put more into his entrance than he did his matches

I always lol at this entrance by Warrior. His music really summed up him also, it was a quick simple tempo.
