Owen's match with Bulldog for the European title was good. But his matches with Bret were always good, the Summer Slam 1994 match is one of my favorite matches off all time.
I personally think Owen was kinda over rated. I dont think he every would have gotten over to the point where he'd get the big strap. At best he was a good technician and good high flyer who can get other guys over. The only matches of his that stand out are his ones with Bret, and even those are over rated by some fans.
I do not think that he would have ever been a world champ in the WWE. But imo he never needed to be, no matter what he was and never would have gotten out of Brets shadow (Kayfabe and legitimately) but I think he could have became a upper-mid card mainstay and could have if he was still alive really legitimzed the Intercontinetal and/or US championships.
Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart: Steel Cage Match at SummerSlam 1994. Definitely one of the finest matches of his career, never really saw it until the History of the WWE Championship DVD came out. And honestly, it was amazing.
