Simple question... What's your favourite weight class in MMA?
For me, I'd say Light Heavyweight. My two favourite fighters are in heavyweight and welterweight (Brock and GSP), and while I enjoy those divisions, I find alot of the entertaining fights to be in the light heavyweight. You can get some big guys, who have some heavyweight traits, but you also have guys who mix in some style of smaller guys, and fight like middleweights. I find it just has a pretty good balance. It's a pretty deep weight class in terms of depth as well.

I mainly enjoy the Lightweight division, I practically look up to these guys in MMA due to the fact of my current weight (135 lbs). And the lightweight division is ABSOLUTELY competitive, and besides the Lightweight division has our future LW Champ Kenny Florian.

You hit it right on the head with Light Heavyweight. They always seems to have the best fueds and everything going on I don't think the other weight class's can even compete. I mean just think of the names that come to mind when you think of other divisions. Now think of the names that come to mind when you think light heavyweight. Rashad, Forrest, Machito, Chuck, Rampage, the list goes on.

The lightheavyweight is the most competive. And has the best overall fighters imo

the lightweight division is the most entertainment for sure as it has more pace and it usually gets the fight of the night awards.

But as for me, I like watching big buffs beating the shit out of each other as it is more appealing for us to see animals beat the crap out of each other while we are sitting on our chairs eating corn or something

Light Heavyweight or Heavyweight. Light for the fact that it's a bit more rounded and you'll find fighters with a plethora of abilities. But heavyweight, just two bruisers, big slams, strong strikes, submissions take longer to lock on and guys can generally fight out easier, and knockouts are FAR more common.

MikeRaw & J Dawg said it best.

Light Heavyweight takes the crown here. The feuds in the past have been amazing. The fights are always entertaining, and never repetitive. Also, you never know what will happen. Its just amazing if you ask me. The talent in this divison is phenomenal, and although I'm against the current champion, I wouldn't be suprised if he loses the belt to the next contender, but according to statistics he's a badass.

If anyone could argue how the LHW division isn't AWESOME, you my friend, are a complete idiot.

No other division even comes close in comparison.

i don't quite know why considering all the names in the LHW and HW divisions, i find myself drawn towards the Welterweight division. Not just for GSP, but for great fighters like Fitch, Hughes, Serra. Not to mention some LW fighters that can move up at times.

Lightweight & Light Heavyweight are pretty close as the most competitive divisions and I have favourites in both weight classes but I'll go with 155 once Florian is crowned UFC Lightweight Champion..... of the World!
