WCW, TNA, ROH, ECW...Your Pick

I'd say my favorite is ROH - Death Before Dishonor 8 or Man Up from 2007.

From the others...

TNA - I liked Bound for Glory 2006

ECW - Barely Legal 2007

WCW - Didn't really have one...BUT I liked a lot of stuff from 1992 with Sting, Vader, Flair, and Ron Simmons.....I also likes the 96 Hogan heel turn, and 2001 (i think) where Russo shoots on Hogan.

WCW- Bash at the Beach, i only saw one of these on a tape, and im not sure which one, but yeah lol.

ECW- never seen an original ECW pay per view, but i guess, ONS 2005...

TNA- BFG 2009 (That was where the MEM won all the titles right lol?, Meh.)

Hmmm...
From RoH, I've only seen one of their "PPVs", it was the Briscoes-Steenerico epic ladder match and Dragon-Morishima. Really awesome show.

ECW- HARD ONE. Heatwave 98 probably. Justin Credible looks entertaining as he gets carried by Lynn. Masato Tanaka and Mike Awesome have another great match. Candido and Storm put on a nice one. RVD and Sabu have a really fun spot fest w/ Hakushi and Hayabusa and Bam Bam gives Tazz a good showing. 5 good matches.

WCW...hard. Very hard. The 92 Wargames with Sting/Rhodes/Koloff/Steamer vs The Dangerous Alliance, I don't remember the rest of the card but that Wargames match was awesome. Superbrawl 98 was nice. DDP/Raven, Jericho/Juventud, Booker/Martel and Booker/Benoit were really good matches. World War 3 96 was good for that awesome Rey/Dragon match and Halloween Havoc 97 was awesome for that Eddy/Rey classic and DDP/Macho.

I never saw much ECW in the early days, so I cannot comment, and I have never followed ROH, but TNA has a few PPVs I really loved: Lockdown 2005 is my personal favorite, top to bottom the card was solid, but the AJ/Abyss main event stole the show. BFG 2006, Lockdown 06 and Slammiversary 2005 are also among my favorites. Hell from 2004-2007 I felt that TNA was miles ahead of WWE tbh.

As for wCw, it's hard to pick. Fall Brawl 1995 is among my favorites, mainly because of the War Games match (my favorite one to date tbh but havent seen the first few) the nWo/Sting/wCw angle is still one of the best things ever if you ask me, nobody knew what was going on (or atleast that's the way it seemed) and it really kept you entertained(I was like 5 but still lol)

^That's part of the reason I loved the Nexus angle initally.

Another wCw PPV I really loved was Souled Out (Or was it UnCensored?) the 'nWo only' PPV with DiBiase and Bischoff doing commentary and Nick Patrick (the nWo ref) as the only ref. They had their own ring crew and everything, it was fucking awesome.

ROH - Respect Is Earned II. Go Shiozaki faced Nigel in a really good match. And Danielson and Aires teaming up to take on Jacobs and Black for the titles I thought was just awesome. Roddy and Erick Stevens had a pretty damn crazy brawl too. Claudio and Davey had a solid 10 mins of wrestling, and overall this show was my favorite of ROH's shows.

TNA - BFG 2006. Kurt made his debut as the special enforcer, Jarrett and Sting had a solid title match. Austin Starr made his debut and won an alright battle royal. Chris Sabin and Senshi had an excellent X-Division title match, and LAX and Styles and Daniels had a pretty awesome Cage match. '06 was a good year for TNA.

WCW - World War 3 '96 Rey/Dragon was brilliance. I loved Dragon at that time and still do. And as a kid the 3 ring battle royal was like the coolest thing ever to me.

ECW - Worthless to me then, don't care now about the company, even though it's better than I expected back then. Slight regret for not paying more attention to it.

^^^Fuck yeah, WW3, Dragon/Rey! Dragon fuckin spike tombstoned Rey on the floor! I think that match is going to be on the upcoming Best of High Flyers dvd, which has like the sickest match listing ever.

As for ECW, go track down Heatwave 98, probably their best PPV ever. There is something for everyone there and believe it or not, Jerry Lynn not only gave RVD his best match, but did the same for Justin Credible. Really good show.

*Looks up DVD match listing* Yep, it's on there, and my God, this is like a who's who of awesome wrestlers of the 90's, as well as some slick matches from the '00 era. I especially tip my cap to throwing in Vader's RR '96 match. Now the match itself wasn't the greatest, but it's legend on so many levels that he made it on. And it's just made it to the top of my Christmas list. :D

Yeah, I was never into hardcore/deathmatch stuff, but i've even seen good singles matches in FMW and BJW, so i'm definitely going to look Heatwave up. Thanks, man.
