Crowd was fine, acoustics were shitty.

What outside of the Main Event was worth getting excited over? The entire Fastlane PPV was mailed in except for HHH/Sting and DB/RR. I guess you can say it was weird they didn't care more about Sting, especially being in the home of TNA + old WCW territory... but other than that, would YOU have popped for any of that other trash? I wouldn't.
I myself wouldn't have popped for much, but there was stuff like Orton's return, Taker's teased return and Cena losing via submission are examples of stuff that would most likely have gotten bigger reactions had there been another crowd. Idk if there were acoustics problems or whatnot but this crowd did seem below average as far as reacions.

Not all arenas translate the crowd reactions equally to TV.

I thought the crowd was pretty lively considering where they were. Most of the crowds down south(excluding Florida) are silent unless there's some really good content, or if a WCW alumni is involved. I'd say Sting had the loudest reaction of the night but even that wasn't explosive.

I actually thought Sting had one of the weakest. I barely heard a pop at all when he made his way to the ring and only a moderate reaction when he put the bat to Triple H's throat. Bryan's entrance for me probably came off the loudest.

I only noticed how weak the crowd was after the comments of the IWC. Shit dude, they were nice with rusev/cena and the main event, but their previous reactions(specially with HHH and Sting) were really shit.

We usually see more people on the crowd marking out, though. These were politely clapping at most.

Like I said in the original post, I skimmed through the entire show except for the ME, so I wasn't commenting on the crowd during any part of the show except the ME. A lot of people acted like the crowd was DEAD for the ME, and while it wasn't exactly RAUCOUS the crowd was fairly involved for Reigns vs DB. It certainly wasn't bad enough to detract from the excellent match.

Ya, the main-event was alive enough. Trips and Sting was awful, though.

It was a boring ass promo segment during a PPV. I wouldn't have been hyped either. Sting's WWE entrance sucks too. Shit theme, shit boring walk down the aisle.

It's a tough main event for an audience though, as everyone is conditioned to cheer both men. There isn't a real heel. Reactions will be mixed / different.

Sting could have been to the ring on underwear and without facepaint, a minor pop is to be expected, specially when with the mere mention of a face to face with sting would get the crowd excited on raw. I don't like sting at all, but this lack of reaction was pretty different from what we get on raw.

I really don't care about Sting in WWE. I hope he goes away soon after Mania. Maybe the Memphis crowd just felt the same way.

I do hope Ray Allen signs with the Warriors though

I don't care also. I didn't like him in tna, and I won't like him now, but I don't want a crowd filled with apathetic fucks like me.
