Sure, but I don't think you can have him on the roster for this week and others could claim him as it is a worst-to-first-claim thing with waiver wire pick-ups.

@OMB there's one free Agent pickup during the Free Agent period. Waiver pickups are for DURING the game week and are applied on a worst-to-first basis after the week is done. As such your Sammy Guevara/Chris Jericho move is NOT approved. If you want to claim Jericho off waivers during the week that claim can be put in and come Monday Night at 11PM Eastern you'd get him (unless someone with a worse record claims him as well).
