Fantasy Wrestling League Season 2 DRAFT THREAD!

IT'S TIME (to get ready)! The Season 2 draft is almost upon us!


As announced in the signup thread, Chris chose the 8th position, a perk he won from winning Season 1. Blaze chose the 1st position, as he won the 2nd choice via winning the Consolation Fatal Five-Way from Season 1.

The draft order is posted below (courtesy of Random.org):

I will announce when the draft begins but ideally it will be this week. I want to wait until after the AEW announcement. We all expect it to be a new show, which will score. If the new show involves a full brand split, the 2 AEW roster positions will be 1 for each roster. That would mean we may hold off until the rosters are drafted.

A few notes regarding the Draft Rules

1. The draft is 10 rounds in a Snake format (the order inverts every round (1-8, then 8-2 for the next round, etc).
2. Your turn starts when the pick before you is made. When it is your turn you have a maximum of 24 hours to make your selection. If you know who you're picking please don't take the full 24 hours as we'd like to get this done as quickly as possible.
3. If you do not make your selection in 24 hours, your turn may be skipped. You will still be able to make your selection at any time, but the draft will continue. This is determined on a case by case basis at the Commissioners discretion. If the Commissioner is the offending party a majority vote can be used to skip the pick.
4. Please be courteous and tag the next person up when you make your selection. I will try and tag people when picks are made but I'm not online 24/7.

And a few reminders of the rules basics:

1. The week starts on Tuesday with NXT and ends on Monday with RAW.
2. The starting lineups are Raw, Smackdown, NXT, AEW 1, AEW 2, and 3 Flex positions (any wrestler).
   1. AEW 1 and AEW 2 will be one for each roster if AEW does a Roster Split.
   2. AT LEAST ONE OF THOSE SPOTS NEEDS TO BE A FEMALE PERFORMER
   3. The rosters are determined by https://www.wwe.com/superstars (filtered by each brand) and https://www.allelitewrestling.com/aew-roster
   4. Flex positions can be anybody. However they will only accumulate points if they perform on a SCORING SHOW. If you expect Matt Cardona to make a surprise return at Money In the Bank and win the Ladder Match great, but he will not score points for wrestling a non-SCORING SHOW and can only be played on a FLEX spot until he is officially added to a roster. The same is true for New Japan Pro Wrestling talent appearing on AEW, they will only be eligible for the FLEX position.
3. The following are Weekly SCORING SHOWS:
   1. Raw
   2. Smackdown
   3. NXT
   4. Dynamite
   5. Rampage
   6. New AEW Saturday Show.
4. Ring of Honor DOES NOT SCORE, NXT Level Up DOES NOT SCORE. AEW Dark and Dark Elevation DO NOT SCORE (if they even still exist)
5. The following WWE PLEs are scoring this season:
   1. Money In The Bank
   2. SummerSlam
6. The following NXT PLEs are scoring this season
   1. NXT BattleGround.
7. The following AEW PPVs are scoring this season:
   1. AEW/New Japan Forbidden Door
   2. AEW All In Wembley
8. If WWE/NXT/AEW announce additional PLE/PPVs during this season they will score as well (I expect one more NXT PLE to be announced and AEW may announce All Out which will most likely score as well).

NOTICE:

AEW is officially launching a new 2 hour show. This show will supposedly feature a separate roster. But since we will not know anything about who's on the roster for this season the AEW performers will NOT be split between Collision and Dynamite rosters.

As such we will officially begin the draft on SUNDAY. The first week of the season will not have a firm date announced yet as I do not know how long the Draft will take. Night of Champions and Double or Nothing will NOT be scored as we will not finish in time.

OK so the draft officially starts SUNDAY. But If @Blaze wants to get us going he's more than welcome to. The 24 hour windows will not be in effect until Sunday but feel free if you're online and up to make your first picks.
