1st part I will leave it up to the rest of the league, as there is nothing in the rules about this scenario. If it was midseason the rules state that I'd be allowed an extra free agency move but I could not re-sign the performer for that season.

If this happened to anyone else I would have made that ruling. Naturally it happened to me and I feel weird making unilateral rulings that benefit me and only me. I will leave it up to the group here.
