The rampage/battle of the Belts taping I went to where Rampage was live early bc of basketball was the weirdest one, but I still missed a Dark match in between bc I thought I had more time to go to concession stands lol

yeah I think the only time rampage would take 2 hours to record is with BOTB and I think theyve seemingly moved on to doing those on live rampages, which is the right play

That show was 1 hour Rampage live, no Dark matches prior bc it started so early. Then a few Dark matches and then Battle of the Belts started 45 minutes to an hour after Rampage ended, took about an hour and then they did more Dark matches with bigger names than the first set. Wasn't a fan of the two sets of Dark tapings lol

yeah they did those really weird when u went lol. I have to assume it will be like the last rampage botb going forward, at least I hope so! keep them out west for the most part too if you can, a lot easier to sell tickets to an event that doesnt start at 10 pm EST

I've been to a lot of live Dynamites and that's not true at all lol if a match isn't going on, Justin Roberts is interacting with the crowd, reading signs and stuff. And theyre super quick with changing over time Rampage, it's taped as if it's live so it only lasts an hour and there's probably 10-15 minutes of changeover after dynamite

the ring announcer will occasionally read a couple signs in the crowd (usually with no enthusiasm like they're trying to fill time). And they take 15+ minutes before filming the first Rampage match every time (There needs to be some time to change the ring, but it seems too long), and then between matches for Rampage every time without fail it takes well over 5 minutes of dead air between bouts. I'm lucky to get out of UBS Arena with a 1 Hour Rampage before 11:30. Grand Slam I had to leave early in 2021 because it was 11:30 and they still had 4 matches to tape. Legit ended after WrestleMania 35 ended time-wise.

I think Grand Slam is a unique experience fwiw, and I also think that the way they do it there was bad last time

Yeah I haven't experienced this at all lol Justin roberts usually makes the crowd pop and laugh like crazy

or alternatively, have a separate *live show on Friday for Rampage. I can't disagree with Trooper about the lenght time of those specific events, not the first time Ive heard that complaint either

10:30 local time (so 11:30 for you) seems to be about when I normally leave a dynamite/Rampage taping but I stay for any post show shenanigans if there are any

I'd definitely be leaving early if i was on EST tho, I love being in central time lol

but ya that being said, my personal experiences were not that at all. I was out of Dynamite at 10pm sharp and was back home (an hour drive away) by 11:30

They need to stop doing Dark Elevation at GS, and film a couple Rampage Matches in it's stead.

If 1 Hour Rampage is only gonna have 3 or 4 Matches, Fans should be exiting the arena no later than 11PM. Especially if you're not gonna give us the backstage segments on TV (which they never do aside from Mark Henry doing his interviews).

yeah tbh id just have 1 hour of dark/elevation at 7, dynamite at 8. that's it. then do 2 hour grand slam/botb *** rampage live on Friday.
