8th pick UGH, well I got first pick in basketball so I was happy about that. I really hope we keep it at team defenses, defensive players cause confusion.

Defensive players hell no.... really when there are 12 of us and we are worrying about offense already that will be too much to worry about. Just go full team more strategy that way.

Being your defending champion i say we keep it simple and stick with the defenses/special teams as a whole

I guess we can stick to team defenses. Like i said i could go either way, but it was open for debate.

Chase makes the best point. 12 man leagues are pretty tough to find quality players after the first few rounds.

It really isn't if you don't decide to be lazy, lol. I really don't see what is confusing about picking a linemen a linebacker and DB unless you just totally don't pay attention to defense at all. But it's fine if we are sticking with team D I just don't agree with the reasoning of not wanting it.

You have to hope on two sacks from Jared Allen or seven tackles from Ray Lewis to win a game. That's so lame and it should just be overall defensively.

I mean my problem is we have 12 guys, and really were are going to pick 3 defensive players each? Pretty much its going to be a hit or miss on who you get defensively. I pay attention to defense, but if Ray Lewis is on the board, when Fitzgerald is still available would you really wanna risk the pick? I like playing Fantasy the classic way with you choosing the offensive players, and you choosing the right defense. The thing about defenses is you must fully trust people. If I were to choose three defensive players depending on my position I would go...

Cody- Ravens
Ryans- Eagles
McCourty- Tennesee

So I have to trust in those three guys, because I see good value, but most of the time it sucks because what if they only get one sack and one tackle... that is pretty much what like 4 points? So pretty much your getting the same amount of points as a third option player. I feel with team defenses there points alone can either be higher, or combine with three defensive players. See the thing about looking at the whole defense it takes more skill than looking at three guys. People will choose the obvious when it comes too it. I obviously chose three guys who are pretty obvious, but its like really it is that hard to pay attention to a whole defense? I mean if anything it is more lazy choosing three guys than looking at a whole team defense.

Not to mention to lose out on some of the special team additions really does bug me, and all around I think it gets people to know more players. I would not know who McCourty is if I did not have the Titans Defense in 2010. Obviously he was good at Rutgers, but he was a stud for the Titans solid defense, when you look at defensive as a whole you can learn more about them, than picking 3 guys as I stated above.

That's kind of the point with fantasy sports everything is hit or miss some1 can always get hurt, have a drop off year like Chris Johnson had last year. There isn't such thing as sure picks in fantasy cause anything can happen so that isn't a reason to dismiss picking players on D. Fitz and any defensive player wouldn't be that close to have that conflict as D would still be late picks just difference is there is way more individual players on D to pick from than just having one whole defense. Not like your team is gonna depend on defense either way. So all I'm saying is not as much of an issue as you guys are making it out to be.

Well when you question if we don't know anything about D than it can become an issue. Plus it was open for debate, so whats wrong with expressing an opinion.

Alright, we'll stick with team D then. Myself and PHX are still trying to figure out the settings for this so we can trade draft picks and what not.

I should be ready. Think we should message anyone in this league the day or so before it happens to make sure everyone knows.
