I forgot he was acquired via trade. The fuck were they thinking even though they got a great front court regardless tho.

Yeah, but if they had Love they'd have no room for Thabeet.

Seriously, I don't care how good OJ Mayo turns out to be, Memphis should be punching itself in the balls repeatedly for trading Love after they drafted him.

Spanish league MVP, Marc Gasol says hello. You do know that in no way shape or form would Love fit better next to Randolph right?

They traded for Randolph after that draft. They could've had Gasol and Love, and that would have been pretty fucking awesome itself.

Love bitched about coming off the bench and splitting time with Jefferson and Darko. It would be worse if he was splitting time with two better bigs in Randolph and Marc.

Randolph is the better player. In case you haven't noticed Zach's last full season was better than Pau's last couple in Memphis team wise. Love's numbers aren't winning games and there is no way you can rationalize the team being better with such an inefficient big man (43%); the guy stuffs the stat sheet but they aren't conducive to winning games like Z-bo has helped the Griz do. The whole point of trading Kwame was to make room cash wise for Z-bo before he got dealt to the Knicks according to Chris Wallace, so apparently they had no interest in Love

Okay, so Zach's better than Love. Zach makes $11 million or whatever, Love would make the rookie deal, $3-4 million for 3-4 years. On a thrifty rebuilding team that has other young stars wanting new deals. Still the smarter move to take Zach?

Smarter move to take Mayo and get out of Mike Miller's damn near 10mil a year deal (which they added to Love) in the process since he was under performing.

Boozer: You thought you were getting this rebound huh?

Noah: I'm sorry man you can have it.
