No one probably would have took him. However I don't see how JR coming back to the NBA means "I don't need Manu" but Amare should go back to owning like he did in Phoenix playing with Lin.

PSYCH couldn't have got Amare for Wall straight up though, so I guess sitting on Manu and using him as trade bait when he returned was kinda smart. Manu was HOT at the start of the season though.
