Ground rules: So the idea here is we're going to cast a film adaptation of the GTA V story mode. For the sake of organization, I'm going to ask that people sign up to participate, and we can establish an order in which we can make casting choices. I included pretty much all the characters involved in the main storyline of the game, for a total of 40 characters. That's plenty of characters. So I'm hoping to get at least 5 people involved, but no more than 8. We can just cycle down the list, taking turns casting people, in any order we want. So say you're first in the order... you don't have to cast Michael. You can cast any character you want. I included some descriptions under the character to give everyone a rough guideline on what kind of person we're looking for. Some characters, their races and such aren't actually relevant to the character, but in most cases, the character's race, age and sometimes physique are relevant, so just try to be mindful of that. If anyone wants to participate and isn't familiar with the game characters, you can always do some research and look at their depictions in the game, or even watch their scenes in the game to get an idea.

The Plot
A silver screen adaptation of the critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto V video game.
Michael Townley is a retired criminal living under witness protection in the city of Los Santos, a city crawling with celebrities, politicians, wannabes, addicts, gangsters and every other type of depraved human being under the sun. Discontent with spending the rest of his life in his beautiful house, drinking the days away, Michael ends up taking a small time hustler from the hood - Franklin Clinton - under his wing, and teaching him the finer points of being a thief. All is well until Michael's old heist partner, the perpetually unhinged Trevor Philips, comes to realize Michael is still alive and well, living in Los Santos, instead of lying in a grave in the midwest, where Trevor believed Michael had died during a jewel robbery gone wrong. Trevor reunites with Michael who he considers his best friend, but tensions are high due to the shady circumstances surrounding their botched jewel heist from nine years ago, with Trevor being particularly curious about the fate of the third member of their team, Brad Snider, who Trevor had been lead to believe was serving time in lockdown, though he is actually the man lying in the grave marked Michael Townley.
Michael, Franklin and Trevor form a contentious alliance, aided by Lester Crest, a disabled hacker who goes way back with Michael and Trevor. Each man is dealing with issues in the own personal life - Michael trying to keep his family together, keep his dealings with the FIB on the downlow, and help his idol Solomon Richards save his movie studio from billionaire venture capitalist Steve Haines, while trying to also find some meaning in his life; Trevor trying to get his drug and gun smuggling business Trevor Phillips Industries off the ground, fighting rival factions like The Lost, The O'Neils and Merryweather, and looking for answers regarding his lost friend Brad Snider; and Franklin trying to leave life on the streets behind him, while struggling with the prospect of leaving behind his people, he must also try to balance the ambivalent relationship of Michael and Trevor under the most difficult of circumstances.
Collectively the four men aim to take the score of a lifetime, knocking over the Union Depository, which houses an incredible amount of gold. Taking this score will have Michael, Trevor, Franklin and Lester set for life. But in doing so, their ongoing affairs will all come to a head as well, meaning Michael, Franklin and Trevor must not only pull off a nearly impossible heist, but they also need to clean up all their loose ends with Devin Weston, Wei Cheng, Stretch, the FIB, the IAA, Merryweather and the rest of their extensive list of rivals. The odds of making it out alive are next to zero, but if the gang can keep it together, they will be legends and made men!
