While watchind today italy vs england match , a commentrator made a WWE refrence when italy was taking a corner . So i thought do you guys know famous celebrities who are true wrestling fans not someone who comes to plug his worthless crappy movie .

Shaq
manager of real madrid , cant remember his name , he was on raw couple of years ago
An itlain player wrote in his biography he watches wrestling , cant remember his name though .

Quite a few ESPN guys reference WWE. Especially when a sports guy is on WWE and TNA and they'll show it, you find out which ones actually watch wrestling because they know what they're talking about.

Hugh jackam and snopp dogg are well known and they havesaid themselves specially snopp . Eminem i am not sure as i said above . Shaq just like snopp has been involved with wwe and said himself . 50 cent also mentions about shawn or ric flair in one of his songs

James Durbin. Hulk Hogan was brought out on American Idol to greet him. He is a legit fan, and was even spotted at the WWE 2012 Hall of Fame sitting between Jericho and Mysterio.

Brain Wilson. The pitcher for the Giants famous for his beard, and crazy looks. He has been spotted many times out in Miz shirts, and has said many times he is a huge WWE fan and loves the Miz.

Daniel Tosh. Always mentioning wrestling on his show.

Derek Jeter. Attended WrestleMania, and is dating Torri Willson. Favorite superstar is John Cena.

The only ones I know of off the top of my head. Its funny how WWE never seems to pick the celebrities who are REALLY fans to host Raw....

Dennis Cometti, a commentator for the AFL, regularly makes wrestling references when calling the game. His son actually wrestles for WXW so that is why he is into the sport. Quite a few other AFL commentators make vague mentions to wrestling. Rove McManus is a tv host from Australia and is a massive wrestling fan, regularly comments on both WWE and TNA.

On a side note, quite often when wrestling is mentioned in Australia it is called WWF. For many people they haven't realised that the company changed it's name a decade ago.

Same here in England, it's just an ignorance thing, same as a lot of people referring to MMA as 'UFC'.

I don't trust that any of these people are really true fans and that includes even Shaq and Snoop who have clearly said a few times they are fans. These people just want more regconition and like most celebrities will do just about anything for the attention. So why wouldn't they say they are fan of something as popular as wrestling? I'm sure if you asked most of these people what was happening on Raw right now they would be clueless so that would tell me they aren't real fans.
