Fallout 6/6/10 Rexx Steele vs Joseph Harrington IWF Intercontinental Championship

no biasesThe scene opens up in the gym with Rexx Steele sprinting on the treadmill. The treadmill slowly comes to a stop as Rexx is covered in sweat. As he leaves the treadmill, The Vixens surround him; all dressed in appropriate gym gear. Clover hands Steele a towel, which he throws over his neck. Elle gives him a bottle of water and Bailey gives him a multigrain bar. He walks across the gym, heading towards the weights.
Rexx Steele: Over the past weeks I have demonstrated to IWF Management and the IWF Fans what it takes to be perfect. Activities have ranged from cooking, relaxation, and even beauty! But now, perhaps the most important factor in perfection… Working out!
Steele hands all of the items back to The Vixens before grabbing himself some dumbbells. He begins to do some reps, making sure the camera gets a good shot of his arms. After a few sets, he places the dumbbells down and stretches his arms out.
Rexx Steele: In this business you have to be at the peak of your physical fitness, you have to be prepared for anything and everything and that’s where my weight training comes into play. I could face an opponent of any size and for that I need to be prepared!
Steele heads over to do some bench presses. Before he lies down on the bench, The Vixens enter. Clover gives him a quick shoulder rub as Elle sprays some antibacterial wash onto the bench and Bailey wipes it with a towel. Bailey quickly wipes the bar as Steele lies back and takes a grip.
As he begins doing some reps on the bench press, we see The Vixens prepping the leg press in the background. Steele finishes the reps and places the bar back on the hold. He heads over to the leg press.
Rexx Steele: Everyone knows I went off the rails a few years ago. But I am back and better than ever and I am ready to reclaim some gold!
Steele starts pumping the leg press, seemingly with ease. Elle whispers something to Bailey and Clover. In between Steels reps, Clover and Bailey jump on the leg press. Steele laughs and gathers all of his strength to push the leg press with two of The Vixens! He strains, but manages to pull it off!
The Vixens jump off and Steele moves on from the leg press. He takes a seat on a bench and is given a bottle of water and a towel from his women.
Rexx Steele: However, strength isn’t everything. It’s all about conditioning your body to withstand some of the things you may face in the ring. I’m not saying you can prevent for all the hurting that is going to happen in between those ropes, but you can prepare for it.
He wipes the sweat from his brow. The Vixens begin stroking and massaging his shoulders an back.
Rexx Steele: Joseph Harrington. I have done all the preparation I need to face you! I am at the peak of my physical fitness and I am as prepared mentally as I will ever be. Come Fallout, I am going to complete and goal and prove just how perfect I am when I walk out with the Intercontinental Championship around my waist!
Steele looks over his shoulders at his Vixens and smiles at the camera.
Rexx Steele: Not to mention, I have three beautiful women by my side to ensure my victory!!

Why we do what we do.
A camera turns on and is looks around at the sidewalks with lots of people walking on them. It turns to a building and focuses completely on it as the building can be see clearly. it’s the famous and nationally known Madison Square Garden arena. Where some of the greatest events in the history of sports and sports entertainment has taken place. The camera focuses now on the doors as one Joseph Harrington, sporting light blue jeans, a black and grey New York t-shirt, nice shoes, and sunglasses walks over to the doors from outside the camera’s view, and opens them. As he opens the doors, the camera follows him. Unlike the last time, this seems like a professional as they walk into the arena. Harrington walks into the arena where IWF’s Fallout will take place. Harrington stands still as the camera man walks around him focusing on his face. Harrington takes off his glasses and sighs. After looking at the ring crew set up he turns around and walks to the back. He walks into a locker room that says “Joseph Harrinton” on it. In there he sits down in a chair as the camera focuses on him. Harrington begins to talk.
Joseph Harrington:
All those years, all those long, brutal, and mentally destructive years of scratching and clawing, fighting tooth and nail with poverty as a young, 22 year old straight out of college. I went to try and live my dream in the independants, fighting and training day in and day out, living on tuna fish and bread for years. No regular, no average joe could do this. But I’m not a regular, I’m not an average joe. I am Joseph Harrington. I went and took the training that was given to me 4 years ago from IWF icons, the Anderson Evolution, and with my ability and hard work, I brought it to the IWF. I won matches in the IWF, THE mainstream wrestling company. IWF is THE company and now we’re at Fallout, IWF’s next pay per view, where I will take on Rexx Steele for the prestigious Intercontinental Title.
Harrington takes a deep sigh as he sits back on his chair. He relaxes himself as he looks around to his left and right… Finally he looks back at the camera and starts to talk again.
Joseph Harrington:
Rexx Steele has been on the ride of his life. He hass been nothing short of spectacular, both inside and outside the ring. Anyone in their right mind would believe he was a shoe in to become the next Intercontinental Title. But I have always loved to prove those critics wrong and I will do so at Fallout. Rexx Steele these past weeks have been showing the world what a great life he has and he hasn’t hesitate to brag about it. He lives in a fantasy world with nothing but envy from the people who walk around him, who watch him, who believes in him. But what about me? I’m the man who these fans idolize, because day in and day out since the day I was born in 1982 to where we are at now! I have trained to become the very best in this business and I’m not going to let some arrogant talented man like Rexx Steel stand in my way!
Harrington stands up and turns to his door, he motions the camera man to follow him and he does. Harrington opens the door and walks out with the camera man following behind him. Harrington walks down the hall as you can hear the sound of his shoes slapping against the floor. He soon walks into a room and turns around.
Joseph Harrington:
This great business that we call wrestling. This great company that has men like me, men like Rexx Steele go in use their morales and their ability to fight their hardest. You see men’s true colors when the going gets tough, some either leave, fight, cheat, or win. I don’t know much about Steele’s true colors, but believe me, you will see them come Fallout. If Steele wins, he would have earned it and if he does in a fair manor, I will give him the utmost respect.
Harrington looks to his right and slowly starts to walk in that direction has his face is towards the camera and he talks.
Joseph Harrington:
The Intercontinental Title is now one of the steps to becoming the very best. This step program is long and difficult, but if you suceed, great things will come out of it. You are born, you walk, you talk, you watch wrestling with your dad, you fall in love with wrestling, you wrestle in your living room with your brothers, you go to school, apply yourself, play 3 sports, one of them being wrestling, you become the very best you can be, you go to college, and instead of going pro, you go to the independent wrestling companies, where you get the most miniscule for a long part of your life, you train day in and day out to become better, you get better, you end up signing a contract with a mainstream wrestling company, you fight your hardest and lose a match, you fight your hardest and win a match, you get a title shot for the second most prestigious prize in that company, you win it, you defend it with pride and respect, you lose it, you become the world heavyweight champion. you become an icon, you become a legend, you become the best.
Joseph Harrington takes another deep breathe and runs his fingers threw his hair before again talk to the camera, in the middle he stops.
Joseph Harrington:
I’m at the Intercontinental step. Trust me you’re not going to stop me Rexx Steele. You fans want to know why? Why use wrestlers abuse our bodies threw rigurious training and endless preparation. It is very simple, it is right infront of your eyes. All you need is to have that camera man turn to the right slightly.
Joseph Harrington smirks as the camera turns slightly to the right to show the display case for the IWF Interconinental Title. Harrington screams as the camera focuses on him again.
Joseph Harrington:
This is why we go threw poverty and pain, this is why we take the dedication that we have! THIS IS WHY WE ARE HERE IN IWF! TO WIN A TITLE! Rexx Steele you live in a fantasy world, surrounded by three beautiful women, in the winning streak of your life! BUT COME FALLOUT, NOTHING WILL STAND IN THE PROSPECTS WAY!!!!
Harrington takes a deep sigh and calms down as he talks into the camera with a lower tone.
Joseph Harrington:
A friend once told me this saying. I was born to be great, taught to be a champion, trained to be a legend and now I’m here to be the very best… You will see me and Rexx Steele battle in one of the greatest matches ever, but I, the Prosepect will win!
Harrington stops and smirks as he screams to the top of his lungs.
Joseph Harrington:
THE PROSPECT IS I…W…F…!
