Ok, I just rented this game and got a question. Is it basically like Resistance, where the object is just to kill the mutants? Or what...?

you can shoot/swing what you have in your hand with the RT/R2 and if you are shooting you can hit RB/R1 to enter VAST mode which allows you to target a specific part of the body to cripple of in the head's case shoot off. aim with LT/L2.

go into inventory with O/B and its not turn based is live action

hope thats sums it up for you. its atleast worth a rent, its a great game

Yep, that sounds good enough, lol.

Ok, can someone answer this for me. Kassidy, I think you told me you worked at Blockbuster, right? It says this on my receipt.

LIFE AFTER LATE FEES

Rental product kept after more than 7 days after the due date is converted to a sale. Sale may be reversed by returning the product within 30 days of the sale date and paying a $1.25 restocking fee.

lmao, so I can keep it for a month and only pay $1.25?

no when you keep it they charge you for the game if you return it you get the money back and then charge you the restocking fee so while you have it they charge you the full price for the game

Yeah, but you just said I get the money back, so I'm really only paying $1.25, right?

Ok, I'm playing this, and got to the part where you try to escape the vault because the father escaped, and in the meantime, while trying to escape, these radroaches are here, and I'm punching them to kill them. How the fuck do you use weapons? I've pressed about every button and nothing works. I've picked up the BB gun and the ammo, and bat as well in the room where you start, so I know I have weapons, but the only thing I can seem to use is my fists, lol. Some help would be nice.

(I use a PS3 btw.)

This game is very sterile, and is hardly ever exciting, however, it's still a rather good game, even though the animations suck ass and so forth. The acting is pretty good, and I lost me Dogmeat. :( Sucks, since I hadn't saved in a good while, and he died while in a fight with Raiders and a Super Mutant Behemoth. I hate those things... and Feral Ghouls. Hate going down into the stations, and particularly this one vault.

Whenever Dogmeat dies i just let my enemies kill me. There's no fucking way ill ever continue the game if he dies. The only time i tell Dogmeat to stay is when i go anywhere where there are mines or a lot of Mirelurks. Obviously it's best to tell him to stay at my house so i drop him off there if there is danger. I can't wait to get Charon as a companion. It sucks i can't get Jericho any more but im pretty dominant. Just fucking got the Alien Blaster which is easily the best weapon in the game. It's a fucking one hit kill. But i also got the Super Sledge which is the best melee weapon, the fatman and i have 9 mini nukes,I have frag grenades and mines, have the flamer,Rock it Launcher with plenty of ammo, and i have 6 missiles with my missle launcher. So im fucking unstopable. This is easily the greatest fucking RPG ever and definitely game of the year in my opinion but i haven't played MGS4.

Fuck that! The main quest is to short. It also kind of sucks that the main character never sees Amata again.
